Hello everyone,

My name is Natasha.  I am 31 years of age and happily married to Paul. We have 4 beautiful children - Jade (9 yrs), Angel (4 yrs), Daisy (2yrs) and Leo (5 months) - who we absolutely adore and mean the world to us. The reason why I have created a website about Mauritius is because it is the place where I grew up and have wonderful memories of it. I live in London (UK) and miss Mauritius a lot. I miss my family, friends and the Mauritian people in general who are always happy and friendly. And of course the sun and sea is greatly missed as well. I went to Notre Dame College in Curepipe and I would like to say thank you to all the nuns and teachers there because of what they have taught me, has been of great value throughout my life after college and their teachings are now being passed down to my children so that they too can stay on the right path and hopefully do well in life.

I would  like to use this page to say thank you to my wonderful husband, Paul, for always being there for us, for all his help and support, through the hard times and the good ones. He brings so much love, happiness and  joy into our lives and he is a truly devoted partner. We all love him very very much indeed.

I would also like to  say thank you to my grandmother for all the sacrifices she  made by bringing me up since I was a baby. Without her, I wouldn't have made it in life. I would like to thank her for all the love and care she has given me and all the time that she had devoted to help me succeed in life. "Education is everything", she always said and she was right. Also a very big thank you to my Uncle and Aunty Rajaindri in Pte aux Sables for everything they have done for me. I will never forget the kindness and love that they have showed me as I was growing up. Unfortunately my Aunty Rajaindri, passed away two years ago due to breast cancer. She is greatly missed each day and I just hope that there will be greater awareness of Breast Cancer in Mauritius so that people can go and see their doctor straight away if they find a lump and not leave it until it is just too late.

Last but not least, my wonderful brother Tegaven. He is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He is very kind and extremely funny. He also has a great big  heart and I will always remember him wanting to share his food and toys with  me when we were growing up. I miss him terribly because he is all the way in Mauritius and also he is my only brother. I love him dearly.
