1/2 kg squid
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
Chilli powder according to taste
1 teaspoon ginger/garlic mixture
4 tablespoons oil
Clean squid and cut into small pieces.
Put squid in a bowl with all other ingredients. Mix well.
Heat oil, put in miture and fry for about 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.
Add about 1/2 glass of water, mix, cover and cook till squid is tender and the sauce dry. The squid pieces should be well coated with the gravy.
Serve with bread and salad.
